Blow Up your school: Bubble-shaped modular units crafted from old car tires

We are talking about a green designing technique that could not only reduce all the cost and energy wastage involved in the current building techniques, but would also make going to school a lot more exciting for everyone. These space-age looking igloo-shaped structures look like scientific research centers set up on another planet. In reality though, ‘Blow up your School’ is an innovative new way of designing both residential and commercial structures.

These simple to erect structures are independent of one another and you can just replicate each individual unit and connect them to form one complete center. The base of these classrooms, which can be blown up using a air pump and are crafted from ETFE cushions or a PTFE inflatable membrane, will be made from recycled old tires.

In simple terms, these stylish units save energy, time, effective costs and also carbon-emissions involved in constructing buildings in a traditional fashion with concrete steel and more. The dual-wall inflatable bubbles are both strong and resilient and are blessed with interiors that can be altered at will to suit different purposes.

We feel that there s another added advantages of having schools like ‘Blow up your School’. Not only will it make it safer for kids to go around and have fun while learning (with bumps they take hurting a lot less), but could be a really blessing for areas with increased seismic activity. Structures like this should be a lot safer during earthquakes and hence prefect for schools. Though, we are still not sure about how ‘fire safety standards’ measure up with these cool bubbles.
