Bel-Air: A mini mobile greenhouse!

bel air

We are aware that plants absorb a lot of toxins that are bad for humans, and poor indoor air quality can cause or contribute to the development of chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and hypersensitivity pneumonitis. In addition, it can cause headaches, dry eyes, nasal congestion, nausea and fatigue. Designer Mathieu Lehanneur, in collaboration with David Edwards from Harvard University, have come up with the “Bel-Air” air filter that uses real plants to purify the air. Bel-Air is a mini mobile greenhouse that continuously inhales the polluted air, forces it through three natural filters (the plant leaves, its roots, and a humid bath) before ejecting it, purified.
