What started in Switzerland and China has today taken over the world! SIGG bottles, since 1998, have been the talk-of-the-town and are made out of a single chunk of pure aluminium. Who would like to carry plastic, an environment-scavenging piece of chemical compound, when one can go for the metal-touch that is now hotter than ever? The ‘green’ drinkers can drink up more fashionably with the launch of designer range of these bottles. This idea is a joint venture of environmentalist Laurie David and Elle magazine, for fighting against global warming. In all, fourteen designers will be giving their artistic versions of SIGG bottles and among them are designers like Stella McCartney, Kenneth Cole and Donna Karan! These pieces of art and utility will be auctioned and the money so gathered will go to StopGlobalWarming.org. Well, here is a chance to look cooler and work for the betterment of the world, not a bad deal at all, right?
