Now here is a lamp that should have popped right out of Walt Disney productions. It looks so oriental & has a beautiful finish to it. It is a “Recycled Tin Lantern” & it makes you wonder how some people can create beautiful things from what most of consider a waste. The lantern is made out of metal scrap & recycled to look as gorgeous as it does. Makes one wonder if one should take a look at what we are throwing away before we actually do.
The lantern is of dimensions 6.5″l, 6.5″w, 13.5″h & is made both out of metal & glass waste. It can be conveniently hung from a support & not only offers illumination but also adds color & splendor to the surroundings. A candle placed inside it makes for a beautiful sight & it surely makes a place look elegant & regal. The designs on it look fabulous & maybe if the creators worked harder at it, they can paint an entire story or two on top of it. It represents both an eco-friendly future & a respect towards our traditional past.
Now remembering that is made out of “trash” it surely is something that might put Aladdin’s lamp to shame. If I were given a choice I would pick this. Ok, fine, I’m over-doing this. I still would pick the lamp that carries a genie inside but hey till I find that in the deserts of Sahara, this will do.
