Cherokee constructed for Raleigh it’s very first suburban Greenhome. The house when completed will look like any normal home but it will be easily distinguishable from other homes by its green features.
The house has been designed to enable owners cut down on consumption of fossil fuels and water. It also recycles or reuse 90% of organic waste and retain maximum runoff water which will in turn help reduce expenditure. The most exquisite feature of the house will be a self-created wildlife habitat.
The project when completed by 2006 fall will promote eco-friendly homes into mainstream society while Cherokee continues to observe energy and water conservation and the quality of air within.
