lizard robot walks on water

With water problems soaring in different parts of the world – be it scarcity or contamination, people are craving for a better solution on the crisis. Recently built by the nano-robotics lab at Carnegie Mellon, here is a robot basilisk lizard.

This robot has features like biochemical sensors. Deployed with spying cameras for search-and-rescue or exploration; these sensors monitor water quality. To break down pollutants, these are also sometimes outfitted with bacteria.

Be added to the list, there are a few other robots in labs, which is able to move both on land as well as water: — be it a snake, a water-strider, or a crab. They all seem to be unique in their own ways.
