Can you guess what the next-generation Antarctic explorers could be? Right, robots! A day will soon come when man will monitor and explore the ice zone sitting at other part of the earth. But, what when its fuel run short? US scientists and engineers revealed a vision as a solution on this line.
They have built a prototype powered by the sun. And have also successfully tested it in Greenland. It is here the solar-powered robot ‘exceeded expectations’. Optimistic with the vision, by the end of next year, the scientists have cerebrated building and deploying a fleet of five similar robots! Hope the exploration of the poles would be ground-breaking and rigorous.
