It uncompromisingly provides ecologically responsible, economical performance. I am talking about the new Mitsubishi Fuso Eco Hybrid electric commercial truck. It will be introduced to the Japanese commercial truck market later this year.
In a drive train, the eco-truck combines a small, clean-burning diesel engine, an ultra-slim electric motor/generator and advanced lithium-ion batteries. Interestingly, the truck also includes a mechanical transmission, which is not only automated but also highly efficient.
The medium-duty truck delivers applications with up to 30% better fuel economy! To add to these eco-friendly qualities, it also produces emissions, which are significantly less compared to its standard diesel-only model.
