New solar powered battery system that produces 800-watt electricity per day

nec display solutions of america 9A solar-powered system will now be used with all NEC’s monitors. The new solar powered battery system is designed by NEC Display Solutions of America and energy-efficient technology manufacturer Carmanah Technologies Corporation.

Depending on the sunlight available, it is capable of producing approximately 293kW/h of electricity per year, or 800 watts per day. This system is capable of significantly reducing the mains electricity needs and, in some cases, nearly eliminates it, according to NEC.

When running a typical LCD monitor, the saved solar energy can last for days of such normal usage. It can simultaneously run multiple monitors with a battery’s varying run time, which depends on usage and the number of devices drawing on the power.

Above all, the life expectancy of the batteries are claimed to be over 20 years! It again depends on the number of cycle times. It also has a panel life of 50 or more years.
