When you go camping you usually require a hot-dog grill which might use some fuel like wood and charcoal, but are you sure that your camping fun is not spoiling the environment? Well, I don’t think so – when you burn wood or any other fuel to cook your hot dogs you are throwing harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
I don’t want you to stop doing that, but be sure that you use a grill that is powered by the sun and not by wood or any other harmful fuel. Well, this Solar-powered grill has been specially designed for the boomerang competition. The grill is a glass box that catches sunlight that is reflected on to it via the reflective Mylar panel.
The grill has been designed by Paul Sprague who also believes that his creation can cook almost anything that you throw at it. Paul also claims that the grill can reach temperatures up to 230 degrees Fahrenheit on a hot sunny day. If you are able to understand the blueprint above, then it might not be a bad idea for you to try and design the grill on your own…!
