Major car manufacturers around the world are thinking about ways to reduce the carbon emissions from cars. This research could finally be like a candle in the dark.
Three fishing friends from North Wales have accidentally made an outstanding discovery. The trio have claimed that genetically modified algae could be used to trap the carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide. This genetically modified algae is kept in a box and the box is then attached to the car, the algae acts like a purifying machine and converts all noxious elements into biofuels and emit mostly water vapor.
The team came up with this discovery when they were exploring the potential uses of algae in fishing. Till now the trio have carried out more than 130 tests over a period of two years and claim that the box is capable to reduce the emissions by around 85%. They are not in chats with some of the major car manufacturers of the world.
