With new inventions getting all too commercial and inventors on a constant look-out for a market to sell their product, Foroohar Aghili, the inventor of an eco-friendly car, looks at providing technology to the poorer countries. This he does in collaboration with Universidad de Malaga (University of Malaga)and Engineers Without Frontiers.
He also states that he isn’t, by any means, a competitor of current ICE vehicles, because his vehicle is “a complete different concept of thinking,” which is neither provided by the public nor the private sector.
Aghili’s car is small and compact looking more like a go-kart can run up to 60 km/h (about 40 mph). Foroohar Aghili, an Iranian Engineer living in Costa de Sol (SE of Spain), states that the car is powered by five means of energy – solar energy, although he confesses the efficiency is not in par with the Australian and US solar cars. Besides, terrain energy which propels the car down hill, wind energy, brake energy and energy from the grid as a result of recharging are what he needs to patent.
Interestingly, the conductor says, that this is the most beautiful ecological car she had ever seen.
This youtube video although in Spanish, is enjoyable to watch the little car roaming the city and the working of the car is explicit in the video.
