Here is one building that I hope you would never need to enter. But if it is just to take a look at the green qualities of this amazing facility, then that might be not all that bad. In the heart of Texas, Dell plans to build the world’s first LEED platinum healthcare facility with a budget of nearly $200 million. The building is a special facility for children and what better way to take care of the children than to make sure that the cute little ones recover well in the lap of nature.
It is a well known fact that nature offers best atmosphere for people to recover from most ailments. It is for this reason that most of the best rehab centers in the world are located in the heart of nature and are surrounded by tranquility. (Leave alone the Malibu rehab center). Now Dell plans to take their treatment facilities one step further by bringing nature in to the heart of Texas. This facility is being build over 32-acres and is one of its kind in the world.
The facility is filled with ample natural light space and also offers plenty of fresh air to those who are recovering from ailments. It provides a green and tranquil atmosphere and with its state-of-the-art facilities around, it makes sure that you get the best of both worlds. Speaking of their work, Brian Ott, LEED AP and principal with TBG Partners, told that they designed various courtyard environments to reflect the biodiversity of Central Texas by incorporating six eco regions, each corresponding to a distinct area of the hospital’s 46-county service region.
Dell is already gaining critical acclaim across the planet for building a fine facility by amalgamating pioneering medical technology with natural goodness to create a harmonious, healing environment. Dell surely deserves all the credit they get and hopefully more people will follow the wonderful path.
