Originating as a response to the environmental damage caused by disposable water bottles, the Collapsible Water Bottle project offers a useful alternative to the heavy reusable travel water bottle. Instead of having to lug around a voluminous bottle throughout the day, users can simply collapse their special bottles and carry them in their bag, suit or even pocket till they refill it again. Aimed primarily at commuters, the eco-friendly bottle has the potential to reduce the impact of disposed mineral water bottles by a huge margin each day which of course can potentially reduce the burden of plastic waste on landfills and the recycling units as well.
