Some enterprising guys just won’t give up even after tasting superlative success with respect to their current business. Like James Dyson, the UK entrepreneur, who has re-invented the vacuum cleaner is now turning his attention to a realistic solar-powered car. His team in Wiltshire is developing a lightweight electric motor based on its vacuum and hand dryer technology but transposed to automobiles. The motor’s battery would be charged by solar panels mounted on the vehicle’s roof, or on the roof of the car’s garage where it is stored. The motor on the proposed Dyson car would be based on those used in the company’s vacuum cleaners and hand dryers. So no worries about its sustainability or empowering capabilities. It is believed that will team with existing auto brands like Honda, rather than design and build a vehicle from scratch. Good luck Dyson!
