Eco Factor: Water-saving clothes washer runs on solar energy.
Designed by industrial designer Rong Yong and Jiang Qian, the Partial Washer not only allows you to save gallons of precious water that is mostly wasted in washing clothes, but also generates solar electricity to not add any watts to your utility bills.
The partial washer concept is designed especially for those who are too lazy to do their laundry or want a portable washer that can be carried along during their next camping trip. More often than not, it takes a great deal of water and time to wash clothes that are only partly dirty. As water is bound to be increasingly valuable in the future, the device allows a user to wash only the stained part of the clothes, thus conserving a lot of water in the process.
The system carries a clamp that can be placed on the dirty part of the clothes. Using the innovative air washing technology, the system allows washing using a minimum amount of water, which in addition to water circulation technology saves more water.
