Eco Factor: All-electric scooter with swappable batteries.
British company Econogo recently unveiled their electric scooter, which was being claimed to be the first electric scooter in the world with swappable batteries for better range. The company has now unveiled their new 1500W electric scooter which features two LiFePO4 batteries.
Two spare batteries offer the option of instant swap for a further 44 miles of range. The $3000 Yogo has a top speed of 38mph. The Yogo will now be available in two variants – the first option is classified as a moped, with the equivalent of a 55cc petrol engine with 27mph capability. The second is the unrestricted 1500W motorcycle with 38mph capability.
