Eco Factor: Car sharing program to offer 3000 EVs at over 1000 lots.
Escalating plans to green the city, Paris is planning to launch the world’s largest electric car sharing program that will offer 3000 electric vehicles at over 1000 park-n-go lots scattered throughout the city. The electric cars will be available for rent for about $6 for every 30 minutes.
The program will need the inhabitants sign up for the service at an additional monthly cost of $18, after which vehicles can be rented without any reservation and dropped off at any car sharing sites within the city.
