Eco Factor: Prototype race car powered by electricity.
Comprising students from different universities, the AMZ Racing Team has developed an all-electric race car prototype to participate in the international car racing championship, the Formula Student. Dubbed Furka, the vehicle won the fastest race car and the best overall package of construction, performance, and financial and sales arguments.
The lightweight vehicle, with a body made from carbon-fiber reinforced plastic, hits 100kph in just 3.5 seconds. The electric chain drive supplied by Nozag AG fits directly into the shaft of the electric motors to enhance the performance of the car.
