Eco Factor: Hybrid-powered super-coupe to substitute for Lexus SC 430.
The Lexus SC430 is steadily going out of the contention for being the eco-car of the future. A recent buzz over at Motor Trend suggests a hybrid-powered replacement for the recently discontinued sedan. Dubbed the LC600h, the next-generation sedan will open its two doors to prospect customers; but not before 2014, mind you.
MT further says that the updated version will flaunt 5.0-liter hybrid V8 packing, which means that a hopping 500 horsepower will keep its four wheels in motion. The LC 600h will ably sprint from 0 to 60 mph less than five seconds.
