This looks like it could give you some sensational thrills on the road and even if we are not completely sure about what it would clock as it races from naught to 100, chances are that its mind-numbing speed along with killer design will make others go green with envy. This blue behemoth is called the Saline Bird and designed by team Les Triplettes de Bonneville, who currently are hotly chasing the land speed record on a two-wheeler; this should make heads spin around for sure.

Designed by five Frenchmen Charles-Edouard Berche, Ugo Spagnolo , Adrien Fuinesl, Frédéric Dobbelstein and Jean-Philippe Paries, the Saline Bird is all about integrating dazzling speed with intriguing design along with a dash of green technology. Powered by a twin compressed air tanks, the bike is after the land speed record and with its long aerodynamic design that allows it to move as a low-rider, it tries to achieve the perfect balance between aerodynamics and center of gravity for stability.

The carbon fiber frame, leather seating and the clean energy that powers it combine to make it a complete winner. Take off the hood and this looks like it is ready to shoot a couple of torpedoes off the front, Saline Bird throws away the conventional notion that green technology and vehicles are ‘relatively boring’ compared to their gas guzzling counterparts. Nothing dull here for sure!
