Zero emission buildings and green designs are becoming more and more frequent across the globe. Acconia have got their own headquarters that is also cool and planet friendly. Acconia is a solar and thermal energy development firm, and hence you would expect them to know a thing or two about green energy and how to sue it to craft zero-emission structures. That is precisely what they have done with their brand new headquarters.
Using an array of solar energy, solar thermal power, geothermal energy and biodiesel for power needs, the new design of the Acconia building has achieved zero-emissions status. This means that the building does not depend on grid power for any of its needs, and even if it does, that dependence is offset by their usage of green and clean power.
The building design by Acconia is covered by photovoltaic panels both on top and on the sides with window panels liberally sprayed with chips of photovoltaic elements. These go on to generate solar power that is supplied to the central power source which also tap into geothermal energy and biodiesel.
With a solar rooftop on the top also supplementing the energy production and a total of 50 Kwp of solar energy on offer from the solar installations, the building has rarely any problem with green power supply. Acconia has used all their experience in the solar field to create the best possible clean energy dependent design for their headquarters and we would love to see it in action soon.
