True, these glass tiles are attractive and perhaps the right ones to decorate your bathroom walls. But, these are no simple tiles. They have contributed hugely towards the environment at the manufacturing stage.
Each of these tiles are made from 100% recycled glass — which otherwise would end up in a landfill. Idaho-based Sandhill Industries made these unique tiles. They are available in 36 colors, which range from light to dark and subtle to bright.
Unlike the ceramic tiles, each of these eco-friendly tile needs less than 1/2 the energy for its production and less than 1/4 the energy, compared to what is required to produce a normal cast-glass tile.
