Why Waste – A wondrous structure brings in awareness

waste

Waste is not really ‘what a waste!’ anymore. The ‘Why Waste’ organization has been working towards making use out of the business waste. The University of Sheffield recently undertook a project to design a structure made with only waste from this organization.

The structure that this university made was worth mention as it also been short-listed for the Architects’ Journal Small Projects Award. The image shows how a structure can be built with sheer waste. It was built for bringing in awareness in people about business waste and surely did a wondrous job.

Why waste is a Bradford Environmental Action Trust initiative to exchange business waste for converting them to useful good. The aim of this free waste exchange service initiative is to make a cleaner and safer environment for us. It covers Yorkshire and Humber region for waste exchange.

They also welcome ideas how to make effective use of waste. You can post your ideas here.

This structure tells us that waste can be used productively and that too in such a incredible manner.
