Wear the Yamaha Deus Ex Machina and zoom off

If you think that the customary motorbikes on the road are boring and nothing out of the ordinary, then check this out buddy! Looking like it has just zoomed out of a spaceship or descended from UFO, this Yamaha-branded Deus Ex Machina is actually a conceptual wearable motorcycle. Dunno what drove Art Center Pasadena student Jake Loniak, the designer, to come up with this kinda alien looking vehicle? He has packed the best of exoskeletons and motorcycles into a single vehicle. Powered by ultra-capacitors and doped nano-phoshpate batteries, it will be controlled by 36 pneumatic muscles with 2 linear actuators that are set along a spine consisting of seven artificial vertebrae. You can also expect a pneumatically attached helmet.

If and when this Deus Ex Machina makes it to the production stage, it is estimated to achieve a top speed of 75 mph (0-60mph in 3 seconds) with a recharge time of 15 minutes and cycle time of 1 hour.

Can you think of driving around the town looking like an extra-terrestrial?
