Wave Tower a€’ High end eco-friendly seascraper, poised to bloom alike a flowera’

The project (Wave Tower) is located in the Madinat Al Arab District, a zone under development that is expected to become the new downtown and central business district of Dubai. When built, the Wave Tower will become the highest tower designed by Spanish architects. A building that moves and flows dynamically; something that balanced on a stem, poised to bloom, alike a flowera’. The building has multiples uses; ita’s comprises of offices, commercial malls and forms a high end residence.

To help control the interior environment, the seascrapera’s silk-screened glass skin helps in solar control, it comprises of a double skin facade made of silk screened glass. In an effort to control water consumption, Torres and Llamazares have designed the tower to incorporate a purification plant inside. The plant will desalinate and purify the surrounding sea water and then be filtered and allocated for drinking water, landscape maintenance and sewage. Interior gardens are present in all the common zones, improving the air quality and working as natural temperature regulators.
