Water filled Inteliglass to keep you cool in summer

Researchers at the Polytechnic University in Madrid (UPM) have developed a new kind of glass that comes with 1-cm slot through which water can circulate. We all know that glass allows the heat of the sun to pass through making conditions unbearably hot.

Double glazing drastically reduce heating and cooling costs however, in summers you still feel like sitting in a microwave oven. The beauty of glass has made it popular in modern architecture. Luckily in time we have a great invention known as Inteliglass. This glass can be filled with water to reduce the amount of heat entering the room without sacrificing sunlight.

Researchers claim that with the installation, buildings with glass facades could save up to 70% on air conditioning. Adding some color to the water circulating inside the glass will definitely make things much more beautiful…!
