Eco Factor: Sustainable housing created from natural and recycled materials.

Ecuador-based architects Alejandra Frutos and David Tixi are proposing sustainable residential skyscrapers that will provide eco-friendly houses to people living in suburbs. Dubbed Vertical Massive Invasion, the proposal demands large-scale primary structures developed by city authorities, where inhabitants can build their own houses in a sustainable way.

Each inhabitant will have the freedom to build the house with eco-friendly materials freely available such as bamboo, wood or recycled shipping containers according to their abilities. Once these sustainable DIY houses are created, they will be able to move into the new skyscrapers and become a part of a large community park.
