Electric vehicles though non-polluting were predominantly vehicles meant to putter around cityscapes, but the TRIAC which had a top end of close to eighty miles per hour aimed to change this notion. And now, it is all set to go on sale this summer. This three wheeled electric vehicle which looks like a mix between a car and a motorcycle gets it’s 80Mph top speed courtesy a 20KW electric motor that powers it. Being fast doesn’t necessarily mean a loss in economy. A full charge of the TRIAC’s lithium batteries will see you go a full 100 miles before you will need to recharge it.
Regenerative braking makes it to the two seater TRIAC which means that your battery will be charged every time your brake. That explains the decent range that the TRIAC manages to deliver for every charge. As the TRIAC aims to roll along highways, it needs to be safe which is ensured by it’s reinforced steel cage body and a low center of gravity which keeps it planted to terra firma. It’s $20000 price tag makes the TRIAC a tad expensive, but considering the long term savings, it looks like a very decent bet.
