Eco Factor: Concept mobility shoe-attachment with an electric engine.
For all those who don’t want to walk or bike to the nearest grocery store, Los Angeles-based designer, inventor and entrepreneur Peter Treadway has conceptualized a wearable transportation system dubbed the “Treadway”. The Treadway is essentially a rechargeable, motorized pair of shoe attachment that can be strapped onto existing footwear.
The system is controlled by a wireless hand controller and is powered by lithium ion nanophosphate batteries that offer a range of about 10 miles and can enable the Treadway to hit a top speed of 10mph. The fashionably designed Treadway includes a rear LED lighting system for higher visibility at night.
