Recycling has indeed become a major part of the modern eco-industry and beyond being just another fancy name given to the not-so-good-looking products, eco-friendly gadgets and art pieces of the today’s world are as good as any in regards to both the aesthetics and the utility. That pretty much implies that not only are we helping the planet, but also doing a favor to our own senses. Recycling is no longer an option, but it is a necessity that has fallen upon the modern world.
The Transglass vase designed by Emma Woffenden is taking recycling to the next level both in the terms of cost an also in regards to the wonderful look that they offer. The all new vases are cool and they come in stunningly different designs and various colors that are sure to stun you. The Transglass art also tells us that recycled does not always come cheap. Now that still begs us to ask the question that is any vase that is made from recycled glass worth $38 and upwards as that is how much these vases would cost you!
Made from recycled wine and beer bottles, one cannot question the style and the form of these art pieces, but one surely can question the price tag put on them. Now I just do not think that pricing them at $38 and above is a wonderful way to attract audience and spread the word in regards to recycling. I do hope we get recycled glass ware the same way and even better forms in future, but they better be priced a lot less than this. Irrespective of all that, it still is a wonderful piece of work.
