A Chinese guy made “Mission Impossible”, now a Japanese company is out to make a mission very much possible. Toshiba has taken upon itself a task of making the world a much better place to live in. If you believe them then their senior manager has stated,
Addressing environmental issues is not a trend, it’s a mission now.
Now that shows commitment. But wait, there is more. Toshiba just doesn’t talk the talk but they walk the walk too. To back up this new drive they are advocating, they have launched an eco-friendly collection of appliances, light bulbs, refrigerators & other stuff. They are calling these appliances “Eco style white” appliances. They sure look stylish & they are white all right. Toshiba says that from now on environmental concerns are an integral part of their product production. I think that’s amazing. To acknowledge that eco-friendliness for a product is not an accessory but a mandatory quality is great. I give the company lot of credit for that.
Other big boys out there, producing various fancy stuff, I hope you are listening. Toshiba surely paved the way. It’s the stand they have taken that is more welcome than anything else. I think this line of products, for being so special, deserve their own song. I say “heal the world, make it a better place…” should be perfect. Yup, I put a Chinese film maker, a Japanese brand & a Michael Jackson (He is his own person you know) in the same article. Yup, Toshiba seems to have inspired me!
