Storm clouds can help forecast global weather in the future. From a major study of clouds in the Northern Territory, scientists made preliminary findings, which reveal that it can eventually change global weather forecasting in future.
It was earlier this year, 200 scientists using five research aircraft and more than 1,000 weather balloons have gathered the first comprehensive data from the tropics’ storm clouds. This information helps change the understanding of different clouds’ impact on global warming.
