Doctors say that coffees should be kept away from weak stomachs. Hence, it is for the same reason, 35-40 million Americans have decreased or eliminated their coffee consumption, Proctor & Gamble says. To meet this crisis, Proctor & Gamble introduces ‘Folgers Simply Smooth‘ — claimed to be US’s first nationally available stomach-friendly coffee.
To elaborate on how it is stomach-friendly, the company claims to have used coffee beans specially selected. The process of roasting the beans is not only monitored carefully, they too halt the roasting process, when the beans reach a certain color. Accoding to them, this process is supposed to reduce the gastric-irritant levels.
