Good news for all electric car enthusiasts. SsangYong Motors will showcase its new concept car – KEV2 Concept -at the upcoming Seoul Motor Show 2011. The car is believed to be an electric version of the SsangYong Crossover model. We may still have to wait for more official information about the car itself, but the official pictures that are revealed to us do throw some light on how the new concept car would look like. If we talk about the exterior, it vaguely resembles the Korando model. But as you can see, with the new LED headlights and minus the standard front radiator grille, it would certainly give an edge to the car! 
The picture displaying the interior features a luxurious, modern design layout that has a Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet as the central control interface. Personally, A tablet like this is a great companion when we got traffic jams to face every single day! I think it’s a smart move from SsangYong. Passengers at the rear will have individual LCD touch screens and comfortable reclining seats that remind you of business class seats of an aircraft. It is easy to guess that the color of the interior would most probably be earthy and soft tones of gray and white. 
Besides making the absolutely stunning style statement, electric concept cars like KEV2 will be most effective in combating the existent environmental pollutions and use of power. It is a known fact that an electric car burns much less gas per mile as compared to a conventional car. It is also 100% emission-free and promotes clean air, as it runs on electric motor instead of a gasoline engine. 
The Korean car maker, which was acquired by India’s Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in February 2011, will reveal rest of the details about KEV2 Concept car and a new luxurious Chairman limousine soon at the Seoul Motor Show. Via: Carbody Design
