Creating an eco-friendly center in the heart of a bustling modern city that is filled with glass, concrete and plastic is the first step towards a green renovation that promises to spread across the landscape. While Western Europe already is pretty renowned for few of its pedestrian and bicycle-friendly streets and green hubs, South-East Asia is fast catching on. The concept design for the South Saigon Yacht Park that is set to take shape in the heart of the Vietnam’s capital is one such beautiful green center.
The design for the Yacht Park has been conceived by Lib.A Liberty Architecture under a team of talented and innovative architects. The park that is set to take shape not only adds a planet-friendly element to the city, but also tries to reflect is rich culture and glorious heritage from the past. With flowing river providing ample natural resources to nestle a vast area filled with flora and fauna and also providing natural cooling, the park intends to bring nature close to modern living.
The Yacht Park will amalgamate cultural, retail, recreation and residential components with its entertainment center in the North, the park and river atmosphere in the South which also holds a commercial port and also residential structures that will be surrounded with green parks. The Yacht Sport Entertainment Complex will be its eye-candy along with attracting everyone towards a healthy and active lifestyle.
The project is not an over-ambitious unrealistic creation that has excessive green components in design, but a practical merger of the modern city life with clean living.
