Arato Designs, a name known to create smart products promises a safe and eco-friendly bus stop this time. Dubbed the “Transit Shelter”, this solar-powered bus stop is made from steel that is enclosed in plastic. The extra high ceiling and wide entry offers a spacious place with 360° view of the surroundings.

The Transit Shelter sports solar panels on its roof, which produce enough energy to illuminate the interior as well as large overhead information panels. The length of the shelter can be adjusted by adding or removing 5’ x 5’ modules depending on to the number of occupants. The exterior of this stunning bus stop can be used for advertising purposes. The designers claim that is offers both robustness as well as safety during electric storms.
