I know when you’re reading this you’ll find nothing new in it, but the information could come in handy if you’re a green geek. With his creation, engineer and inventor John Howe is surely making a big difference in the efforts to save world’s energy supply, crafting the 1954 gasoline powered classic into an energy efficient solar powered tractor that after a long day’s work boasts of not utilizing an ounce of energy that isn’t renewable. With the vision to reduce energy dependence when it comes to farms and farming, it’s Howe’s creation that heads in the direction to solve the problem, running through the hay farms solely on solar energy. Howe is also working on a book that highlights the abundant use of energy and offers solution for the same, and one of the solutions that the book offers is this solar powered tractor. Electric farming is perhaps where the future is headed, but will take a long time for the changeover.
