It is gas powered and will run 42 miles per gallon. The top speed of the car is 90 mph. This car will surely change the look of US roads which mostly is crowded with gas guzzling SUV’s. It has also got a four-star crash rating. It seems very small in size and let us see whether it is accepted by the Americans.

The Smart Car will be launched in the market in three models with price tags ranging from $11,000 to $17,000. The rest of the world will still have to wait for some more time before they can drive the Smart Car. As promised by the manufacturer, it will be a fine vehicle for small distance commuting and will be practically comfortable too. It is going to be in the market of United States in 2008.
