Skyscrapers get intelligent

daewon park

The skyscrapers, which for long have borne the brunt of the green brigade have now become just a little intelligent. This, courtesy the Daekwon park concept, showcased at the Evolo skyscraper competition, which aims to make the towering skyscrapers a little friendlier to both the humans and the planet. The Daekwon park concept aims to do just that and a little more. Now you can have prefabricated units clipped on to the skyscraper. These stylish and very contemporary units sit stacked on top of each other to serve a wide range of purposes. How about having a coffee place in the middle of the air, or even a garden to take a whiff of crisp fresh air? Now, to meet your buddy working across the sky in another skyscraper, you don’t need to take the hundred floor elevator trip down and avoid the maddening traffic to get across to the deli, just walk across the stylish skywalk and sit at one of the many sky cafe‘s. That is not all, this concept has wind turbines built in the modules to harness the wind for the skyscraper’s energy needs. That is some very nice innovation to save the planet and make our lives better. We just cannot wait to see a few of them coming up in the near future.
