Shavit concept electric superbike with adjustable features for smooth control

Shavit - Electric Superbike Concept
When the automotive industry is flooded with all-electric concepts (not that we are complaining), it certainly takes that element of spunk to score high on the novelty factor. Well, the electric bike concept of ‘Shavit’ presented to us by engineering student Eyal Melnick might just pass that test with its unique adjustable features. As a part of his graduation project from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel, he surely has contrived a low emission yet stylish design version of an all-electric, adaptable ‘super sportsbike’.

As with the majority of other conceptions, this design has been envisaged as a definitive part of urban commute. While its form alludes to that sleek and agile essence, the motorbike certainly ain’t ON-ONE. But it can make use of its very own advanced adjustable mechanism to swerve through those cramped city corners and most importantly give the rider an element of control and comfort. The adjustable feature is related to the seating position, where the primary body can alter its position for efficiency of ride. Please do check out the video, which aptly demonstrates this alteration in real time graphics.

Coming to the specifications, the superbike will infuse 180 hp with a sturdy weight of 170 kgs and wheelbase of 1380mm. The back portion of the bike does exhibit minimalism, but given the specs this low emission ‘green’ monster is bound to pack a punch when let loose on those congested city roads.
