Now here’s a washing machine I really want to get my hands on! Sanyo’s aptly named AQUA washing machine is yet another invention taking domestic appliances to the greener yet useful side of life. Apart from all the regular features of your average washing machine and easy access opening, AQUA boasts a unique “Aqualoop” feature which recycles water after every wash for use in further washes. I’m not sure if using dirty water to wash your clothes is feasible but it seems to be doing a good job at it, ergo there’s something else at work here that I can’t grasp.
The biggest plus point of this device is the fact that it functions as a part time dry cleaner. It sprays clothes with a bacteria killing mist which renders your clothes clean much the same way as a professional dry cleaner would. This exactly is what the world’s houses have been crying for! Kudos to Sanyo for inventing this little wonder, thus saving us the trouble and expense of dry cleaning elsewhere. Priced at around $1300, AQUA is all set to take your home by force!
