Eco Factor: Low-emission car powered by a green engine.
Australian auto design firm Revenge Design Inc has unveiled its latest green creation, the Revenge Verde Supercar that tops 200mph and offers an amazing fuel efficiency of 100mpg. Priced at around $200,000, the vehicle has been made using the “best from the best” parts that are assembled in America.
The car comes with three drive chain and power train options that includes a Ford 605hp motor, a GM 638hp motor or an HP2g V8 engine that gets powered by E-85 ethanol fuel. Overall, the supercar boasts 400hp of power enabling it to hit a speed of 60mph in less than four seconds with a top speed in excess of 200mph.
The vehicle’s green engine runs for 100 miles on a gallon of fuel. The supercar packs carbon fiber batteries that are recharged as the car travels under gas power. When the car reaches its cruising speed it only needs 15hp to maintain it, that’s where the gas engine shuts down and electricity takes over.
The car’s battery pack recharges itself and powers the car using no fuel. Other features include a six-speed paddle or a stick shift gearbox, aluminum chrome 20-inch wheels and four piston Brembo brake calibers mated to carbon fiber rotors and aluminum center hubs.
