Most toffee and chocolate wrappers are not biodegradable, and are generally headed for the landfill, just to add chaos to the environment. Indigenous Mazahuas people from central Mexico have done just that. They have hand-make bright colorful baskets from bubble gum and toffee wrappers to hold (only) dry garbage. The artisans have meticulously used excess production wrappers from snack factories.
