The UN World Water Development Report (WWDR, 2003) from the World Water Assessment Program indicates that, in the next 20 years, the quantity of water available to everyone is predicted to decrease by 30%.
The available water is going to decrease and the population which consumes the water is going to increase.
Need for change
It is a fact that we need clean water for future generations also. But we have started facing water crisis, such as drought etc. This shows that the technologies and strategies we are using are not enough to conserve water.
