‘purEonic’ bionic electric concept car is designed for purists

The first thing that came to my mind when I looked upon this unique concept was the term ‘organic supercar’. With its sleek yet sophisticated demeanor albeit fused with its ‘anatomical’ structure, the concept does come across as some futuristic rendition of the biopunk genre.

Even the designer describes the car chassis as a bionic extension of the driver. The primary emphasis has been given upon the car’s light weighted nature, as the body will be composed of an advanced yet sustainable composite plastic. But the main conspicuous element of the vehicle would obviously be its fragmented structural form, which according to Freyburg, symbolizes the transparency and ultimate light weight of purist cars in the future. But still, as the designer says, this innate characteristic would not come in the way of the enhanced aerodynamic quality of the vehicle.

Coming to the ride features, the car will encompass an all electric drive. It will be powered by four electric engines in each wheel including the suspension system and additional disc brakes. The rechargeable battery will be divided into two components, to the rear and front to get an optimal power to weight ratio.

So at the end of the day, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a serenely zero-emission spin around the town in this classy yet organic car.
