Health conscious and want to be organic as well, but don’t want to spend your whole paycheck in buying the organic labels. Well eight year old brand Greenwise can be your liberator. Publix, a major conventional grocery retailer, based in Florida, is ready to grab the fast booming organic market and is all set to open its first all organic store at Palm Beach gardens, soon. The huge 39,000 square feet area store would sell pure organic meat that carries no added hormones, along with a wide variety of products not available in conventional stores who sell organic items as well.
The best part of the store would be the prepared foods area, where the customers could choose from a large variety of Italian, Japanese, Asian and Mediterranean, all organic and all under one roof. That is equivalent to 10 restaurants under one. So all in one, an organic prepared food section that is much like a restaurant, a whooping 50% of the store dedicated to organic food completely ( as compared to only 10% in conventional stores), along with normal shopping so that the customers don’t have to go elsewhere to buy their not so organic potato chips. Publix want to go Green in a big way not only to give a tough competition but also to provide complete one stop shopping experience to environmentally conscious customers. Via: BloggingStocks
