Power your skates on a green path forward

electric cruiser

Remember all those times when you used to power your way to another block just on your roller skates! You never did that? Then you surely missed out on something. If your little town is clam & quite with little traffic, you can even hook up onto the back of a vehicle & glide home on your skates. (Reader discretion advised on this) But here is a less exciting but a safer way.

Wiztem company has launched a very attractive, funk, little gadget that is made to power all you roller skate junkies. While this looks very attractive & striking, with a blazing fire graphics as its design, one still cannot help thinking that it is mainly aimed at the young. It is understandable that the marketing of the company is aimed at its major buyers, but it would have been nice if they encouraged more people to take this up by producing better designs. Maybe they can bring out a sleek, dark & grey looking official collection.

Anyway Wiztem (& it is impossible to miss them as they seem to have printed themselves everywhere possible) has made this ‘Electric Cruiser’ which is run by 250W digital frequency conversion electrical motor & has a maximum speed of 30 km/h. I guess the maximum speed varies on your own body weight, so I’m guessing someone like me can go a bit faster than a Renee Zellweger from Bridget Jones’ Diary or my friend ‘Dobbi’.

All In all, it is a cool little product & promotes some clean transportation. It must be exciting to go at decent speed on skates, so this might catch on, but highly doubtful as those who skate are generally not that lazy. They do power themselves.
