Power Haus was constructed by Josh Wynne Construction. This house was a well-crafted one with its rooms appealing everyone who steps into the home. Despite its eco-friendly nature, it still soothes the nerves of people. There are no air conditioners installed in this home. In fact, one can only witness ceiling fans that are designed to consume very low energy. However, they have got elite looks. The technological applications in this house ensured such low power consumption. They include, eternal gas tankless hybrid water heater, energy star appliances, cent per cent LED lighting and 21 SEER carrier infinity HVAC system. When we talk about this house, we should never forget the surroundings of it. Lush green trees surrounding Power Haus will make any person to think of poetry when one visits this place. I am convinced after looking at this house that it is greenery that offers complete comfort to a person and not the luxorious palaces with grand chandeliers. Power Haus is also capable of producing energy. This home has a 14.2 uni-solar flex lite amorphous silica that produces energy. It was reported that even if Power Haus doesn’t use this solar energy and depends on purchased energy, its score on HERS index would not cross 42. On the otherhand, this house has earned 118 LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) points. While a house is considered eco-friendly if its score low on HERS index, it would be endorsed by LEED—green building certification system recognized internationally— score, which has to me more. LEED will not just look into energy consumption matter but will also look at Carbon dioxide emissions, indoor greenery and water efficiency.
