Philips, whose motto is to design and deliver products that marry technology and simplicity, show sense and sensibility has done a great job in installing energy saving lighting systems in public places world wide that consume a lot of light energy including the Buckingham Palace, London’s O2 arena, the Acropolis in Athens and the Eiffel Tower.

The National Theater in London will also get a green make-over by Philips; replacing its existing lighting with state-of-the-art, dynamic and energy efficient design using LEDs. The new lighting system is expected to add a dramatic visual effect in the night especially to the London skyline.

The theater personnel expect to channelize the savings made in energy costs toward putting up better and frequent plays and performances.

In the right light, at the right time, everything looks extraordinary!.
